Email Notification List
I now send out monthly emails with info about Timz repeaters; notifications of nets, repeater issues, web page changes, or Brandmeister updates. Mostly helpful to the hams local to the Dayton, Ohio area. If you'd like to receive these emails, click HERE to get added to the list.
Or manually send an email with the subject "Put me on Timz DMR Notification List" to: tim-yvonne@juno.com

Receiving Texts through Brandmeister
Although your DMR radio probably received texts out of the box, it will only receive texts sent through your local repeater - by a person also connected to the same repeater (aka - local texts). To also receive texts sent through the Brandmeister network (network texts).. click HERE.Traveling ?
Like to call home from your vacation spot ? Two methods:Method 1. Click here: https://brandmeister.network/?page=networkmap
This will bring you to a Network Map page. Continue zooming in to your desired area until this repeater symbol appears:
then click on that symbol to obtain the repeater freqs and color code.
Note: if you're seeing a blue circle with a number in it... you haven't zoomed-in enough.Method 2: Click the below link:
https://www.radioid.net/database/search#!
In the center column of that page DMR Repeater Search, enter in a state (type in the entire name) and click on Search at the bottom of that column.
Make certain the repeater you will try to use is on the Brandmeister network (last column).place a channel (group) in your DMR radio on the nearest DMR repeater, with group number 310557, and the TimeSlot that repeater system wishes you use (most likely guess would be TS 1). Also most likely... this group (310557) will be a PTT type group on that end, so kerchunk to activate. Then call home !
