Note, the codeplug is for CPS v1.04. If your radio is a different version/CPS... you'll need to IMPORT the files in my EXPORT download; do not just load the entire TimzQuickList codeplug into your CPS. You may get errors if you don't do the IMPORT.

Summary (only if your radio is not Ver 1.04)
* read your radios factory codeplug into the CPS.
* Using the IMPORT function (under TOOLS) Import the files found in my D168.ZIP file.
(Channel, Radio ID, Zone, TalkGroups)
* Send this updated codeplug to your radio.

 

This is a basic program file with some digital groups used on Timz DMR repeater, and local analog repeaters as well.

After download, load the file into your D168 program and make the following changes before burning your radio:

 

1. Click on Digital; Radio ID list.

2. Click the number 1 at the top of the list

3. Enter in your DMR ID number in the Radio ID box, and then your CallSign in the Radio ID Name box; then click OK

 

note: you will need a digital radio ID; it's easy & free. click: https://radioid.net/account/register

click the box near the bottom of the page: "I AGREE TO THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS", and then click

"Register Account"

 

Suggested changes from the factory defaults (note: TimzQuickList codeplug already has these changes): 

Optional Setting, Digital Function, TX Preamble Duration:
recommend 240ms minimum (this should never be zero)
 

Optional Setting, Alert Tone, Call Tone:
Digital
 

Optional Setting, Display, Brightness
4 or 5
 

Optional Setting, Display, Display Current Contact:
On
 

Optional Setting, Volume/Audio Max Volume
7
 

Optional Setting, Volume/Audio, Analog and Digital Mic gain
