Load (restore) a pre-configured setup
Below is a link to a download for a 68mb "restore" file, that contains a basic configuration to allow Mesh operation from a new GXV3240
After downloading, unZip the file and copy it's contents onto a blank SD card. It's a file or two... and a subdirectory. Copy them all over just like they unzipped. Insert the SD card into the right side of phone (there's a drop down door). The main page should acknowledge there's a SD card present:
Click on the APPS icon (the 4 solid squares at the bottom center of the screen), then finger scroll left-right until you see the Backup App, press it
After the Backup/Restore app launches, click on the Config Icon (upper right)
Then click on Settings:
Next, click on the oval to the right:
select extsd
press the Phones "Back" hard key
Click on the 2016_05_07-22-03-12 file shown
Next, highlight both checkboxes to the right:
Once highlighted, then press on Restore at the bottom:
After the restore has completed, the phone will auto-reboot. Once it reboots back to the main screen... wait one minute and then recycle power to the phone.
