I finally had time to do a serious AVIA alignment through my component connected SD9100 and I am simply amazed. Watching ST Insurrection after this setup....absolutely incredible! So much more detail and color. The TW56X81 is a very capable rptv passing all the high resolution patterns on Avia. Also, s-video image from the same DVD player was great.
I do believe thiAT HiDef tv's major design criteria is for progressive DVD and HDTV. All projection tv's will magnify any imperfections in the signal. Then add a line doubler into the mix, and a less than perfect signal will produce artifacts. Good quality connection cables are a must !!!
