 Repeater Group Details

Note: Some groups are active all the time; though most are not active on my repeater unless you "kerchunk" that particular group once you've gone to that channel. Even if there's activity already on that group... you still have to signal my repeater to activate it and let the audio come through. A simple Kerchunk will awaken these groups; or you can key up and give your call sign. Once active, that group will automatically "time out" after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Timz DMR Rptrs – Talk Group 310557/Time Slot 2. This talk group is for local chit-chat and QSO’s. It also goes through the Brandmeister network.
Also use this same group when away from the area to reach this repeater anywhere in the world. I always listen to 310557 for local conversation and chit-chat. Hop on and start talking !
This group is always on for both East and West repeaters. Talk into East... and you'll be heard on West; vice versa.

When travelling away from southwest Ohio... find a Brandmeister connected DMR repeater in the area you traveled to -click here-, and use group "310557" and then talk to your home base through that areas DMR repeater. Note: this other DMR repeater probably wants you to use TG1, and 310557 is probably a PTT activated group on that repeater. Regardless of what TG they want you to use, it will still come out of Timz repeater on TG2.

Also, Group 310557 will retransmit NWS alerts for Greene and Montgomery Ohio counties. These are warnings only. The NWS performs a test every Wednesday between 11:00am and 11:30am. This weekly test will also be rebroadcast. The warnings/test broadcasts are 40 seconds in length.
