Yvonne's Greenhouse

What's New inside the greenhouse...

Non-stop begonias planted in a hanging basket. The large flowers are easily seen from the road in front of the house.

Mexican Oregano grown from cuttings taken last fall. This herb has a wonderful strong scent.

Lobelia "Crystal Palace" annual, grown from seed. I use it in containers as an accent and as a border in sun and part shade.

Melampodium, an annual grown from seed. The old flowers are overgrown by new buds so you never have to dead head the spent blooms.

Rudbeckia Indian Summer, likes full sun and grows about 2 feet tall on sturdy stems. Should bloom until frost.

Gazania mix; these beautiful flowers love dry hot condtions and bloom as long as the sun is out, all summer long, right up until frost.

Blue Bocopa started from cuttings. They root very quickly and are a good accent plant in containers.

Poinsetta

This will be pretty in a container as an accent plant. It starts easily by rooting cuttings.

These geranium seedlings have the details of an adult plant . Just look at the zone on it 's first true leaf. They sprouted a couple of weeks ago.

I started these cactus plants from seed a few years ago.

The orchids are beautiful in the fall while in bloom. A Christmas cactus is in the background.

I keep fresh herbs for use in the kitchen. Rosemary has a wonderful scent and taste.

These New Guinea Impatiens were landscape plants last season. I have cut back two of the plants as their undergrowth is getting pretty big.

This white bacopa is a beautiful accent plant in containers

Lamium White Nancy is a good ground cover. I use it with geraniums in a tree circle bed.
